About West Wales Angling

West Wales Angling is owned and run by long time fishing partners Mark Goodall and Peter Edwards. Based in the town of Pembroke Dock on the edge of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park the shop is the ideal place to pick up fresh bait and tackle to plunder the excellent fishing the area has to offer. We offer expert local knowledge and a first class, friendly service to anglers of all disciplines and all levels of experience. Previously known as Pembroke Angling, Pete and Mark took over in June 2010 and look to build on the good name gained during the nearly 20 years trading by the previous owners, who are enjoying well earned retirement.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple:We have a full range of sea tackle and bait. Weather you should be into beach casting, boat fishing or rock-hopping with lures we have all you will need from a wide range of trusted brands at competitive prices . The Pembrokeshire coast lends itself to the growing trend for kayak fishing and we stock the specialist rods and tackle needed for this growing branch of angling.
Carp and coarse fishing is well catered for at West Wales Angling and we stock a wide range of rods, reels, baits and all manner of terminal tackle. If big carp are your target or you need spares for a pole or you just want a pint of maggots, we can help. Day/season tickets for local waters are available though West Wales Angling..

Game anglers are not forgotten, either. We cater for river anglers in search of salmon and trout in the outstanding river stretches in the area (some memorable fish have already been taken on our worms!), as well as the still water fly angler.
